Dr Hibba Ali Haider gduated from Fatima Jinnah Medical University from Lahore Pakistan MBBS Class of 1997. Currently she works in a private practice in Houston, TX. After her house job at SGRH in Medicine and Surgery she completed a year of Pediatric training at FMH Lahore, Pakistan and then moved to US in 2001 after marriage. She completed her Pediatric Internship and Residency 2008-2011 from University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas. She has been an ambulatory care Pediatrician and has had a passion for underserved and marginalized populations and continued care for families and children affiliated with various FQHCs ( Federally Qualified Health Centers) since her Pediatric residency graduation up until 2021. She moved to Houston, TX in 2022 after spending twenty blessed years in Kansas. She helped model a Direct Primary Care Pediatric practice with Choice Physicians Group from May 2016 to May 2021. She has also served at KVC Child Psychiatric Prairie Ridge Hospital in Kansas City, KS and has gained valuable skills for understanding the mental health needs of children and adolescents. To add to her expanding skills as a General Pediatrician and need for helping children and youth with mental health needs she completed a focused training for few chosen community Pediatricians. She did a Masters in Behavioral Health in Pediatric Masters from Children Mercy Hospital KCMO to better serve the children she takes care of. She has been appointed as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at KHSC ( Kansas Health Sciences Center at Kansas School of Osteopathic Medicine, Wichita, Kansas. She mentors medical students, nurse practitioner students and International Medical Graduates and help them prepare for their academic and clinic journey in US. She has a burning passion for philanthropy and to serve the forgotten of the world and completed her aspiration journey to finish a Master’s in International Medicine and Global Health in 2022.
Her other highlighted achievements are as below.
⁃ Master Trainer HBB (Helping Babies Breathe) and has lead training workshops in US and Pakistan to train in HBB program for low resource settings.
⁃ Diploma in International Medicine and Public Health 2019 She has served as treasurer for FJMU Alumni 2019-2020. She is also the Past President APPNA Heartland Chapter 2016-2018 and has served in many other sub-committees of APPNA. She is on the Board of the Interfaith Muslim Organization since 2012 and is the current
Vice President Crescent Peace Society (Interfaith Muslim Organization)
Past Board Member of Faith Always Wins and Committee Member of Friends of Seven
Days (A Non- profit trademark under Faith Always Wins Foundation) working to
enhance Interfaith Tolerance in Kansas City Community.
Served a the Past President of the MAACA Festival (Host Country Pakistan) -February
2019-April 2019. Pakistan was the host country, and the entire theme of the festival
was to highlight Pakistani art, culture, food, architecture, folk dances, literature, music,
etc. An audience of over 10,000 people attended including local mayors, governors,
congresswomen, elected officials, and the diverse local population of all ethnicities and
backgrounds. The Mid-American Asian Cultural Association is a non-profit
organization that promotes cultural understanding and education opportunities in the
Greater Kansas City Area.
